Everything Fitness

 Join a class of older adults for a total-body workout appropriate for any fitness level. Everything Fitness class will help to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. The workout combines flexibility and resistance (strength) training with plenty of friendly fun.

Balance & Stability

Need to work on your balance? This is the class to help you.  The exercises can be modified to work with your abilities to help build your core strength.  This is an exercise class so be prepared for a light workout.

BUNS & GUNS

 This class will provide an intense arm and lower body workout. It is great for ALL fitness levels and in no way will it get you “bulky”- quite the opposite! It will help to trim, sculpt, and tone those trouble areas. A great addition to your current exercise program or great on its own. Come to Buns and Guns for a high energy and intense workout!

Fundamental Fitness Class

Class will teach you how to properly stretch, warm-up, exercise and eat healthy.  Group fitness that caters to your age and fitness level, while teaching you to properly exercise, tone and strengthen every part of your body. This class will challenge you each week with a new lesson plan.

Kickboxing Fitness

This class uses kickboxing techniques and cardio to build a fast pace fitness class. You will build endurance, muscle and burn fat while striking pads and kicking your way to good health.

Martial Arts

A class for all ages to learn martial arts and exercise.  Students can earn belts as they learn discipline and build self-confidence.

Pilates

Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mid and condition the total body.  The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up.  Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity.

Spinning Classes
Spinning Body Burner 45-60 Min Classes
Do you want to get a great workout but not tons of hours in the gym? Are you tired of putting your bike away when the Michigan winters and cold weather comes? Then hop on into a Spinning class that can be done anytime of the year! This class will focus on staying constant and enjoying the company of others as well as music.  You are in charge of how hard you work and no one needs to how light or hard you want to push for that day.  Then our 30-45min Body Burn Spinning class may just be for you! This class works you hard for shorter periods of time to get the same great results of a longer less intense class would give.

Strength Training

A Fitness class designed for men to keep them fit with a combination weight lifting, cardio and challenging task to keep you moving.

Stretch & Relax

Utilizing relaxation techniques to move and stretch those muscles you have not used in a long time.  This is a mat class and you will be spending time on the floor.

Tai Chi Class "Arthritis Foundation" :

Improve your flexibility, balance, strength and mental peace using a form of meditation exercise, characterized by methodically slow movements. This class can be done standing or sitting in a chair.

 Total Fitness

Focus is on the core, posture, balance, strength training, low-impact cardio work and flexibility enhancement.  The class uses stability balls, free weights, tubing and your own body weight for resistance training.  This class is for ALL ages and fitness levels!

Yoga

 One of the most powerful and quintessential forms of exercise that requires intense mental concentration.  When practiced correctly and concentrating on breathing, yoga increases flexibility, muscle definition, endurance and mental clarity.

Yoga "Power"      

Power Yoga is definitely an intense workout that will make you sweat.  Power Yoga classes move with even faster rhythm focusing on strength and balance. The sequence is one breath one move.  There are very few moments of being in a pose and getting the feeling that it's taking forever.  Music is played throughout the entire power class.

Zen*ga

Energize both your body and mind with this fluid, but powerful workout.  This mat-based routine includes foundational, meditative motion and an in-depth focus on core stability.  It provides the ideal combination of breath and fluid movement, resulting in enhanced flexibility and improved total-body strength.

Lets move to the beat! We offer Zumba classes that are sure to bring a little Latin spice to your day!  These are for all fitness levels and a wide age range so come bring your family and party yourself and family into shape.

Have a splash and tone up at the same time.  Aqua fit is a great way to shape up aerobic style in the water while your joints are supported.
